Mrs. Yvonne Henry, Education Specialist
Learning By All Means, LLC began in 2012 by Mrs. Yvonne Henry, Education Specialist. "Professionally trained for meeting students needs while addressing common core standards through hands on learning." Mrs. Henry received her masters degree in teaching from Trinity University in Washington, DC. She has been teaching for more than 19 years to both students with and without disabilities in a public, private, and charter school environments in the District of Columbia as well as Maryland.
She has served as a mentor to novice teachers and one of her greatest desires has been to show and prove that all children can and will learn if they are equipped with proper strategies. She has since been dedicated to helping all students to achieve their full potential in and out of the class room using various hands on methods to bring learning to life. She takes pride in allowing "Hands on Learning" to take place as students increase their knowledge and mastery of skills they find challenging in school. She prepares students for academic success with the application of real world skills using in cross curricula activities, allowing for better student performances on standardized assessments.
She has facilitated professional development for educators on making modifications and accommodations, response to interventions (RTI), and functional behavior assessments for all students. She continues to demonstrate with the passion today that our educational system greatly needs for all students to be college and career ready.

Mrs. Henry describes "H.A.N.D.S O. N." Learning as Hands Achieving Noticeable Developmental Skills and Opportunities Needed. She identifies major skills from the common core standards and provides differentiated learning activities through real world applications.
